Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Matthew 28:18-20

Our Mission

Our mission is to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to observe everything which Christ commanded to the ends of the earth.

Our Vision

Our vision is to see our community hearing, loving, living, and sharing the Word of God.

Hear the Word: We are committed to preaching through the Bible book by book and teaching the whole counsel of God.

Love the Word: We want those who hear the word to come to faith in Christ, be baptized, and join the local church as they begin their discipleship journey

Live the Word: We encourage one another as believers to grow in our personal faith, living out the commands of Christ in discipleship relationships

Share the Word: The Gospel of Jesus Christ came to us not to stop with us, but that we might also share it with others. So it is the responsibility of every Christian to faithfully and consistently share the Gospel with others. We as a church are committed to missions and church planting as we care for the souls of those in our community.

Our Pastor

BRENNAN KRESS

Pastor Brennan Kress, originally from Hendersonville, TN, moved to Jackson in 2018 when he attended Union University. He graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s in Christian Studies, and is currently enrolled at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is pursuing a masters of divinity. He married Emmeline in 2025. He has served for several years as a pastor as well as being a trained TBMB and NAMB church planter. He loves story-telling, writing, and going to the gym with his wife. He counts being an elder at Redemption Community Church to be one of the great privileges of his life and looks forward to many more years of fruitful ministry.

Where we meet

We gather each Sunday to worship the Lord at 11a.m. right in the heart of our community. Located right off Exit 42 directly in front of the Pilot gas station, we hope to provide a place to worship for all those in the Blue Oval City Community and in South Haywood County.

In December 2025 God blessed us with a new meeting place. We have recently moved into our residence in Mason Tennessee.

We also meet every other Wednesday evening for Small Group in someone’s home. (Please contact us for more information.)

Making ourselves known

Church Fair at Union University

It is our mission to take the Gospel throughout rural West Tennessee. We believe one of the best ways to show the love of Christ is by serving our community. Our hope is to continue to offer our community a safe haven in the midst of a stormy world and to shine the light of Jesus Christ wherever we find ourselves.
